Four week course for novices

Over the years Andrew has given cooking classes and demonstrations in Melbourne, Sydney, Margaret River, Hong Kong & Bangkok, showcasing his restaurant’s food style and highlighting his establishments most popular dishes.

These new cooking classes are different. No more showy restaurant dishes. These will be a return to basics and are intended to help novice cooks, who perhaps didn’t have many opportunities to prepare regular daily meals, how to cook with confidence.

You will be shown classic cooking techniques and methods, tips on how to purchase quality produce and how to cook with fresh seasonal ingredients. Hopefully you’ll take away a new found passion for food; that cooking is more for pleasure than just plain sustenance.

Cooking 101

Week 1- Monday 2nd June
Roasting a chicken, grilling fish & woking vegetables

Week 2- Monday 9th June
Barbequing steak, deep frying & condiments

Week 3- Monday 16th June
Stocks, risotto, pasta & sauces

Week 4- Monday 23rd June
Side dishes, salads, dressings & desserts

Each of the four nights will run from 7pm and end around 9.30pm.

Cost is $680 (all four nights) and classes are limited to 10 participants

Includes tastings, wine & scintillating conversation.
